Fairfield will be looking to win their 3rd straight game on Sunday playing Iona at the Arena at Harbor Yards. The Stags (9-14) are 7-6 in the MAAC, directly ahead of Iona (10-15), who is 6-7 in the MAAC and on a 3 game winning streak of their own.   Full Story

Fairfield will be looking to win their 3rd straight game on Sunday playing Niagara at the Arena at Harbor Yards. The Stags (7-12) will be looking to go 6-4 in the MAAC and tie Niagara for 5th place. Niagara is currently tied for 4th in MAAC with a 6-3 record and is 12-6 overall.   Full Story

Fairfield will be on the road Sunday playing Marist in Poughkeepsie NY. The Stags (5-10) will be looking to go 4-2 in the MAAC. Marist is in first place tie in the MAAC with a 4-1 record and is 10-6 overall. Marist's only losses have come on the road or nuetral courts against Miami, UMASS, Houston, Temple, St Johns and Niagara .   Full Story

On December 22nd 2006, Fairfield changed its starting line-up to include Herbie Allen at guard and Mike Evanovich at forward. Since then, they have gone 2-2 with wins at St Peters and Loyola(MD), and losses to St Joes and William and Mary on the road.   Full Story

Fairfield will be on the road this Friday evening playing St Peters College in Jersey City. The Stags (2-8) will be looking to halt a 6 game losing streak. St Peters is 3-7 and 0-1 in the MAAC. They were defeated at Manhattan by the score of 65-62. The Peacocks have a 3-1 home record.   Full Story

Fairfield will travel to Brooklyn NY to take on the St Francis Terriers on Wednesday evening. The Stags (2-3) will be looking to get back to the .500 mark. St Francis is 2-3, beating Hartford (3-4) and Hofstra (1-2), while losing to St Johns (3-0), Maine (1-2), and Manhattan (3-2).   Full Story

The Bearcats improved to 3-2 on the season with a five point win over Fairfield on Saturday afternoon at Fifth Third Arena. Freshman Rashad Bishop led the Bearcat attack with 12 points and the team received a lift from two other freshmen to seal the win.   Full Story

Saturday afternoon the Bearcats get back to action against the Fairfield Stags. Tip off is 1:00 pm at Fifth Third Arena. The Stags play in the Metro Atlantic Conference, the MAAC seems to pull off major upsets every year in the NCAA tournament. Fairfield will play Sacred Heart for the first time in their history. Both of these Catholic schools reside in Fairfield CT, and this game expects to become a rivalry between the schools. Fairfield Stags are 1-2 and Sacred Heart is 0-3.   Full Story

Fairfield will meet Holy Cross in their home opener of the the 2007-2008 season. Stags lost their season opener to Wake Forest 85-60, while the Crusaders beat Hofstra 61-47.   Full Story
